Greg O’Shea finding it ‘tough’ to date someone who isn’t interested in Love Island fame

A lot of girls have been sliding into his DMs

Greg O’Shea has revealed that he’s finding it “tough” to date someone who isn’t interested in his Love Island fame.

The Limerick native won the popular ITV2 series back in August with Amber Gill, but is now back on the dating scene after splitting from the Newcastle babe.

Speaking to Karl Henry on his Real Health podcast, Greg said he’s struggling to find a girl who doesn’t want to be with him just because of his reality TV stint.

He said: “It is tough but I don’t want to sit here complaining, ‘oh there’s too many girls.’ I’m kind of just focusing on myself at the moment and investing in myself and trying to capitalise on everything. ”

“I don’t really have time for dating at the moment. Since Love Island and everything that happened there, I haven’t dated anyone, I’m actually not even speaking to anybody which is weird.”

Greg explained: “It’s the first time since I’ve been 13 or 14 that I’ve had no love interest in any way in my life which is crazy.”

“I’m not even texting anybody so it’s a really, really weird time for me but it’s nice to kind of eventually look at myself and invest in myself.”

“Maybe in time when it calms down a bit, I’ll look for someone. There’s options there, I just haven’t looked into any of them yet.

“It’s career, friends and family at the moment and if a lovely lady comes along then I’ll be open to it.”
