Yvonne Connolly has revealed that she has a “never say never” attitude towards marriage.

Yvonne told Goss.ie at the Kellogs GAA Cúl Camps Breakfast Cook-Off that she’s leaving her options open, by saying, “I never say never, but there are no plans.”

However, the former model went on to say that she and her cinematographer boyfriend of over five years, John Conroy, are very happy with the way things are, admitting, “We both feel that we are happily unmarried.”

Yvonne has been with John for over five years now and seems happier than ever.  She explained that even though she doesn’t see a wedding on the horizon, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t believe in marriage.

She stated, “That’s not to say that I don’t agree with marriage. I think if you want to start a family and make a commitment to somebody marriage is lovely.”

The former model also addressed that both her and John have been married before.

“We’ve both been there and we’ve done that,” she said. “We are really happy and why change it?”

The mum of three also discussed plans to further her career as a TV chef.

When asked if she’d like to host her own cooking show, Yvonne said, “I’d love to. Maybe next year. I’m really enjoying having no pressure on me.”

When referring to being a regular chef on The Six O’clock Show she said, “I love being on The Six O’clock Show. It’s really easy and relaxed and its fun. I would love my own show, but that would also be a lot of pressure.”
