Simon Delaney revealed to Goss.ie that he will be opening a food outlet this year.
He told us about his new business venture on the red carpet at the 2018 Gossies.
The celebrity chef had great fun chatting away about his work projects for the year alongside Anna Daly and Lucy Kennedy.
His food business will open early this summer and will be located just outside Dublin.
The soon-to-be Snapper star has been touring the country doing cooking demos following the launch of his cookbook last year.
Simply Simon’s The Diner Cookbook focuses on delicious American diner style food, think wings, fries, burgers and other belly filling bliss.
The former Corrie actor discussed his excitement about his upcoming play The Snapper prompting Lucy Kennedy to chime in with her own announcement.
“It hasn’t been announced yet but I am playing Sharon.”
Simon was quick to take the role away from her.
“I can reveal to you exclusively that Lucy Kennedy is NOT playing Sharon.”

She went on to endorse his culinary skills as she recalled memories from when they lived together ten years ago.
“He made me the most delicious roast and so I can safely say this boy knows his food!”
We’re can’t wait to try it.
If you can’t wait until The Snapper to see him acting again, fear not, he’s in Damo & Ivor The Movie, which will be released on the 16th of March.
He plays Tricky Dicky and a source close to the actor told us to look out for “a moustache that Marty Whelan would be proud of!”
With no sign of a few days off in 2018, we can also look forward to seeing him star alongside Stephen Dorff in the psychological thriller Don’t Let Go later this summer.
