Still alive and kicking: Rob Sheehan has come back to life thanks to The Liquour Store

“Rob is one of the investors; as a local, frequent patron and fan of Off Broadway, he has eagerly awarded himself the role of ‘Pond Champion’ – I think he might be more excited about the future of the venue than anyone else.”

“In the meantime, he’s having just as much fun as the rest of us, coming to The Liquor Store to enjoy the specially imported American (and, depending on the chefs guesting, other regional) beers, cocktails, music and, as can be seen most recently online, a whole lot of crayfish,” the spokesperson told Goss.ie.

Brunch: a look at the lovely food served in The Liquor Store

For seven weeks, a series of pop-ups, ranging from Japanese to Mexican will take over the kitchen to serve up their ‘southern’ inspirations every weekend while The Liquor Store serves up moonshine sublime.

Chefs taking over include Andy Bates of Eat My Pies and UK Food Network and Tim Anderson of Nanban (and Masterchef winner), London’s favourite burgers, Lucky Chip, as well as Crawdaddy Boil and events upcoming: Crawdaddy Boil II and Wing Fest.

The venue The Liquor Store currently inhabits is Dalston Pond, a Hawaiian fusion restaurant, music venue and cocktail bar in London.
