EXCLUSIVE! Here’s who could be replacing Amanda Byram on RTE’s Dancing With The Stars

Amanda Byram has quit RTE’s Dancing With The Stars, and now the rumour mill is overdrive about who will replace her.

Before the show aired on RTE, a number of high profile TV presenters had auditioned for the show, including Vogue Williams and Angela Scanlon.

In 2016 Vogue actually gave an interview admitting she had been “turned down” from the show.

“I’m in an industry where you get rejected all the time so I’m used to rejection,” she said at the time.

However Goss.ie has now learned that Vogue is a firm favourite to replace Amanda.

Since auditioning for the show back in 2016, Vogue has married Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, released a slew of successful documentaries on RTE, and is expecting her first child.

“Vogue was so close in the first place, she was placed with Nicky in screen tests and everyone thought she was a perfect fit.

“But when Amanda threw her hat in the ring producers opted for her. Now they are looking at Vogue again,” the source added.

The show is set to record again in January 2019, and Vogue is expected to give birth any week now.

Meanwhile, TV insiders have revealed producers are also interested in Laura Whitmore as a co-host.

Laura now has a radio slot on BBC and since 2016 has turned her attention to acting.

But she is currently doing slots on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.
