Courteney Cox is desperately trying to win her Snow Patrol beau, Johnny McDaid, back after they split last month.
The former Friends actress and the Irish musician are believed to have called off their engagement earlier this month.
However, it has been claimed that things had been ”rocky” between the couple – arguing over wedding plans.
”Things have been rocky for a while. They were arguing over wedding plans, had one almighty row and she asked him to leave,” a source said.

Now that the dust has settled, the 51-year-old has reportedly been telling those close to her the split is just a “trial separation”.
”They are both devastated that it has come to this. Courteney has been especially upset and is telling friends it’s a trial separation while they figure out how to move forward,” an insider told Grazia.
“She’s desperate to have relationship counselling.”
The Cougar Town actress has allegedly said she still wants to marry the Run hitmaker but believes they must ”address their problems” first.

”They fell in love extremely quickly. And now it seems that they’ve reached a stumbling block,” the source said.
“Courteney says she loves Johnny and wants to marry him, but she knows deep down they can’t plaster over cracks and get hitched without addressing their problems.
“But she is still hopeful they will get through this, as we all are,” the insider divulged.
