Conor McGregor has revealed he is “very close” to confirming his UFC return.
The Dublin star was just spared any prison time after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct in his bus vandalism case.
This means Conor, 30, is able to return to the UFC in style. And with rumours, he is set to take on Khabib Nurmagomedov, the fighter has revealed an announcement about his return is coming soon.
Asked if he was close to confirming the bout, McGregor told TMZ: “Yes, very close.”
When asked if he will be fighting in 2018, he added: “I believe so. I hope so.”
When asked if he would be fighting in New York he said: “I’m pushing for it. I f***ing love New York city.”
“We’ll see what happens. I’d love to fight in the [Madison Square] Garden but I believe this one will be in Las Vegas.”
