Amy Huberman has admitted that the old house she shared with her husband Brian O’Driscoll never felt like her’s.

The couple lived in Goatstown for 11 years, and raised their two children Sadie and Billy there.

Despite making so many memories and living there for so long, Amy has revealed that she constantly referred to it as “Brian’s house”.

Speaking on Róisin Ingle’s ‘Back To Yours’ podcast, the mother-of-two said: “I still called it ‘Brian’s house’ and he’d be like ‘we’re married ten years!'”

“We got engaged in that garden, we brought the babies home there, but weirdly I never felt a huge emotional attachment to the house itself and I don’t know why that was.”

“I still got a shock when I saw the removers come – it was so visual and felt like your life was being boxed away and taken out.”

After moving out of their house in Goatstown, the couple moved in with Brian’s parents, while their dream home in Rathmines is being renovated.

Speaking about their new home, the actress said: “This does feel like our house together. It feels like a real joint venture.”
