Alli MacDonnell’s brother delivers heartbreaking tribute at her funeral mass

The Irish model passed away earlier this month

Alli MacDonnell’s brother described her as “forever young, forever beautiful” at her funeral mass today.

The stunning model passed away suddenly on February 4th, and many gathered to say their goodbyes at the Church of the Assumption in Dalkey this afternoon, before her burial in Dungar Cemetary, Roscrea, Co Tipperary.

According to the Irish Daily Mirror, Alli’s brother Michael spoke about her “immense love for her four children” at the funeral.

Another relative read a poem during the mass, which read, “Alli Mac, a girl, a mum, her daddy’s pride, lets spare a thought before your eyes.”

“A gift now gone for a little while, you left us pith your loving smile. Inside of you your beauty shone, those piercing eyes forever gone. Your sensitive hub, your natural style surpassed all others by a mile.”

“You left your gifts for family time, four little angels stayed behind. A super mum, her kids defend, her love for them just has no end. You disappeared, our hearts are broke, ambassador of love and hope.”

Hundreds of mourners turned out to pay their respects this afternoon, including fellow models Sarah McGovern and Gail Kaneswaren.

The model beauty, who regularly appeared on IrelandAM fashion slots, was mum to four kids – Sienna (2), Harry (9), Sara (14), and Alex (15).
