Tiffany Haddish and Nicki Minaj argued over the best solo artist to come out of Fifth Harmony at last night’s MTV VMAs.
As the awards had no official host this year, a mix of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities took to presenting the show.
When comedians, Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Harte took to the stage the 38-year-old had to tell the audience how great Camila Cabello was.
After struggling with the pronunciation of Camila’s name, the comedian said: “Camila Cabello is here nominated for 5 awards.”
“So those of you watching at home…hi Fifth Harmony!” Tiffany joked.
Although fans thought her comment was hilarious, the shade didn’t impress everyone, especially Nicki Minaj.
The comedian’s announced Nicki’s ‘Chun Li’ as Best Hip Hop Song and the rapper took her time on the stage to hit back at Tiffany’s comment.
As she accepted the award, the 35-year-old turned to Tiffany and said: “And don’t be coming for Fifth Harmony because Normani Kordei is that bitch.”
Normani previously appeared on the rapper’s podcast and pair are good friends.
The comedian stood on the stage laughing and clapping and Nicki’s comment, but everyone watching could feel the awkwardness in the room at that moment.
