Sarah Jessica Parker breaks silence on her ‘feud’ with Kim Cattrall

The former co-stars are no longer friends

Sarah Jessica Parker has broken her silence on her “feud” with Kim Cattrall – by insisting that there’s no “fight” between them.

The Sex and the City star, who played Carrie in the hit HBO series, has been publicly slammed by her former co-star over the past few months – and most recently accused of “exploiting” Kim’s tragedy after her brother died.

Despite Kim’s war of words, SJP has insisted that there is no feud between them – because she has never “responded”.

“I never talked about it, except that some of us were disappointed. But I never responded to the conversation Kim had with Piers Morgan, where she said things that were really hurtful about me,” she told PEOPLE magazine.

“We had this experience and it was amazing, and nothing will ever be like it. We had a connection with an audience, and we had a connection with the city and with this crew, and we got to tell these crazy stories with each other.

“So I don’t want to mess with that. I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing that part. So there was no fight; it was completely fabricated, because I actually never responded. And I won’t, because she needed to say what she needed to say, and that is her privilege,” she added.

In Kim’s most recent take down of SJP, she slammed her former pal for reaching out to her in the wake of her brother Christopher’s death.

Kim wrote on Instagram, “I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker (sic)”

“My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now.

“Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona. (sic)”
