The lingerie showcase is one of the biggest fashion moments of the year.
Hundreds of high profile guests clamoring for tickets, while millions tune in to watch the show from the comfort of their couches.
L Brands announced that it is “rethinking” the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
According to CNBC, the company hopes to change and evolve, and create a new kind of event.
Network television is no longer the “right fit” for the event, but there are no further details on where exactly we might expect to get our VS Fashion Show fix.
“We have decided to re-think the traditional Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” reads a memo.
The fashion show has been a staple of television and fashion culture for many years.
The first show was held in 1995, and featured supermodels such as Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks.
In recent years, social media it-girls such as Kendall Jenner, Winnie Harlow, and Bella and Gigi Hadid have stormed the runway.
Decked out in the traditional bejeweled bralettes and feathered wings, the show is known and loved for it’s glamour.
So much so, that some very famous faces chose top honour the brand when choosing their Halloween costumes.
