Kim Kardashian SLAMMED for posing as Jackie-O in new magazine shoot

Kim Kardashian has been slammed for posing as a “black” Jackie Kennedy in a new photoshoot.

The 36-year-old posed as the late First Lady for Interview magazine alongside her daughter North West – but Twitter users weren’t impressed with the shoot, and asked why Kim’s skin colour looked so dark.

After the mother-of-two posted pictures from the shoot on social media, people complained that it was “the most ridiculous thing” and that Jackie O would be “turning over in her damn grave right now”.

Kim was joined by her four-year-old daughter North, who she has with rapper Kanye West.

However, people quickly pointed out that Kim, who is of Armenian and British/Dutch descent, had the same skin colour as her bi-racial child.

“Why did they darken her skin to try and make her look black?” one person asked, while another said, “@InterviewMag since when @KimKardashian has the same color of the skin of her daughter?”

In her cover interview, Kim was asked about raising a ‘mixed black girl’, and she said, “I’m very conscious of it. Kanye always has his family around and people who look like my daughter—that’s important to me.

“She’s obsessed with her curly hair, and if she finds someone who has the same hair, she runs to them and is like, ‘You have curly hair like me?’ And we get to talk about it.

“We also talk about it with my niece Penelope, because she and North look really different, but they’re best friends and they’re together all the time.”

The reality star, who is celebrating ten years of her show Keeping Up With The Kardashians this year, also spoke about protecting her children, North and Saint, from the spotlight.

“We have strict rules about the kids [on KUWTK]. Some seasons they’re not on at all. Some seasons they’re on a little bit, just to show a bit of personality, although there are never story lines about them.

“But then there’s social media, on which I’ve always been really open. When I’m out and people call North’s name, that’s when it’s weird for me. She lives such a normal life, believe it or not, at home,” she said.

Kim also spoke about critics who have described her as “talentless” over the years.

“I used to say, ‘I love being underestimated.’ But now when I hear, ‘They’re so not talented,’—ten years into it—I’m kind of like, ‘Okay, give a girl a little respect.’ If I’m so not talented, if I do nothing, then how is my career my reality?

“And I poke fun at it, like when I was on the cover of Forbes I posted the hashtag #NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent. I don’t mind being underestimated because it does fuel me. But after a while, I do feel like, ‘C’mon, you can recognize a little bit.’…

“You can say a lot of things about me, but you cannot say I don’t work hard. I don’t sing. I don’t dance. I don’t act. But I am not lazy,” she added.
