Kanye West has stated that he “wasn’t stumped” by Jimmy Kimmel’s question about Donald Trump on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The rapper appeared on the programme on Thursday and was asked about his support for Donald Trump while on the show.
When questioned about why he thought the president cared about black people or “any people at all”, Kanye fell silent.
While the father-of-three pondered his answer, Jimmy quickly decided to announce an advertisement break and his question was never answered.
Many fans took to social media to discuss how Kanye couldn’t answer the presenter’s question, even though he is a strong supporter of Donald Trump.
The rapper has now taken to Twitter to explain why he didn’t answer the host’s question straight away.
On Jimmy Kimmel we had a great time having a dialogue. I’m reading that I was stumped by a question. Let me clarify the click bait. I wasn’t stumped. I wasn’t given a chance to answer the question.

The question was so important I took time to think. And then I was hit with the let’s go to commercial break. That interview showed strong personalities with different opinions having a civil conversation.

Kanye then told fans that he appreciates Jimmy Kimmel and his team, and said that the host lead the interview “with love.”
The rapper was thanked for his support by President Trump on Friday.
The president stated that Kanye’s support was making “a big difference” and also thanked him for “the fact that he is willing to tell the truth.”
Thank you to Kanye West and the fact that he is willing to tell the TRUTH. One new and great FACT – African American unemployment is the lowest ever recorded in the history of our Country. So honored by this. Thank you Kanye for your support. It is making a big difference!
