Demi Lovato reportedly fired her sobriety coach three weeks before she was hospitalised after an alleged overdose.
Sober coach, Mike Bayer, had been working with the singer for six years but the pair began arguing in March, according to The Sun.
Mike appeared in Demi’s documentary,’Simply Complicated’, which was released last year.
“She fired him a few weeks ago – they had a big argument and then they unfollowed each other on social media,” a source told The Sun.
“It has been very ugly and messy as this guy was like ‘her rock’ that she leaned on after she and Wilmer broke up.”
The sober coach posted a video about his celebrity pet peeves on Instagram earlier this month, which included being ‘late’ and ‘rude’.
Fans speculated that the clip was about Demi after she tweeted, “Good luck on your blog” two days after video was posted.
Mike has not commented publicly on the pop star’s suspected overdose but the 25-year-old is reported to be in a stable condition.
