Amy Poehler is set to direct AND star in ‘Wine Country’ for Netflix alongside some of her hilarious Saturday Night Live alumni.
As Amy’s feature directorial debut, the movie follows a group of friends who take a weekend trip to celebrate a 50th birthday.
The Parks and Recreation star will be working alongside Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Maya Rudolph and Emily Spivey.
The film will also reunite the popular comedy duo of Amy and Tina Fey.
The script was written by two Saturday Night Live writers and will be produced by Amy’s production company Paper Kite Productions.
It is set to start filming at the end of March, but there is not yet a release date.
