Darren Kennedy is the latest celebrity to promote the YES vote for the marriage equality referendum.
The RTE presenter has taken to his Youtube channel to ask the public to vote for love, because that’s what it’s all about.
Speaking about coming out to his parents, Darren said it wasn’t easy.
“I was thinking about when I first came out to my parents, which was in my teens, more than 10 years ago,” he said.
“It seems like a lifetime ago. But at that time, I was really worried and my biggest fear was that my whole world as I knew it was going to come crashing down around me.
“I didn’t know how my parents were going to react, there were no reference points, there certainly was nothing as gay marriage,” he added.
