Peter Andre has revealed his “strict” parenting rules for his children Junior and Princess.
The singer shares his eldest two children with his ex-wife Katie Price after meeting on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here back in 2004 and married a year later.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the 51-year-old gushed over his children after they landed their own magazine cover with the publication.
Peter confessed: “I couldn’t be more proud of Junior and Princess, who landed their first joint magazine cover with OK! magazine.”
“They seemed to have fun doing the shoot – you can really see the strong bond that they have.”
“Princess landed me in it when she talked about my ‘strict’ house rule,” he continued.
“It made me laugh, but I’m also proud to be a strict-ish dad. As I have told Junior, if they didn’t something wrong I wasn’t angry, just disappointed sometimes.”
The TV personality admitted: “I come from a generation where parents got angry and raised their voices, but there’s no need for that now.”
“I have great conversations with the kids. Yes, I’m strict, but in what I hope is the right way.”
“It allows them to understand what they did and hopefully learn from it.”
Back in 2021, Peter reflected on how his romance with Katie began and gushed over the fact that they share the “only jungle babies ever!”
“I was on it in 2004, there are so many memories when I hear the music.”
Speaking about his eldest children, he explained: “They are the only jungle babies ever, my kids!”
When asked who he made the best friendships with in the camp, Peter reminisced: “I mean I fell in love… it was an interesting time!”
Peter went on to marry doctor Emily MacDonagh with whom he now shares three children, Amelia, Theodore and Arabella.
He and his wife, Dr. Emily, 34, welcomed their third child together at the beginning of April.
After weeks of deliberations, the couple finally settled on a name for their daughter in May.
In a post shared on Instagram, Emily confirmed they had chosen the name Arabella Rose for their new addition.
Alongside a new picture on their little one, she wrote: “It’s taken a while but after lots of deliberation we’ve finally decided. Arabella Rose Andréa.”
