Maya Jama shares sneak peek of her BRIT Awards look

Maya Jama has shared a sneak peek of her BRIT Awards look.

The 2021 awards show will take place tonight, with Maya and Clara Amfo hosting the backstage show on ITV2 and ITV Hub from 7pm.

Ahead of her hosting gig, Maya took to Instagram on Monday night to share photos of one of the dresses she will be wearing at the star-studded event.

The 26-year-old captioned the post: “T’was the night before @brits ‘mas lol (sounded good in my head) but I can not wait for tomoroooo 🎉”

“My first ever time doing the backstage TV show for @itv2 (at 7pm) & the return of my favourite award show everrrrr! Here’s a peak at one of the looks 😊.”

The colourful floral dress was designed by Stella McCartney.

The BRITs 2021 will be hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall at London’s O2 Arena, and the main show will be televised live on ITV and ITV Hub from 8pm.

The annual awards show will be going ahead with an audience of 4,000 people, as part of the UK government’s research programme into live events.

Audience members will not have to wear face coverings or socially distance, however they will have to provide proof of a negative Covid test before entering the venue.

Guests will also be asked to take a test after the event for research purposes, and will be required to provide details to NHS Test and Trace.

2,500 tickets will be gifted to key workers from the Greater London area, to thank them for their service during the coronavirus pandemic.

Coldplay, Rag’N’Bone Man, Pink, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Griff, Arlo Parks and Headie One are all scheduled to perform on the night.
