Kerry Katona reveals she’s launching a dating app – after finding love with fiancé Ryan Mahoney on one

Kerry Katona has revealed that she’s launching a dating app with her fiancé Ryan Mahoney.

The couple met online two years ago on the dating app Bumble, and announced their engagement in August 2019.

The former Atomic Kitten star unveiled her new venture in her column for new magazine, revealing the app would be called ‘Marnii’.

She wrote: “Ryan and I met on an app and some people think they’re not destined for love or don’t deserve it. I’ve been married, divorced, widowed, I’ve done them all.”

“I thought I didn’t deserve to be in a relationship because it doesn’t work. For two years I was lonely, then I met Ryan!”

The mother-of-five revealed the slogan for the dating site is: “Everybody deserves a happy ever after”.

“It doesn’t matter what you’ve been through, everybody deserves a happy ever after,” Kerry explained.

The 40-year-old has been married three times before, with her upcoming wedding to Ryan set to be her fourth.

The TV personality said: “I’m looking forward to getting married this year. Although it makes my stomach turn a little bit when I say that, no offence, Ryan!

“It scares me,” she admitted, “I just want to go and get it done and not tell anybody.

“I think it’s because I’ve had so many failures at it, it just scares me. We’re not in a rush, but I think we’re probably going to do it in the summer. We want to go to Vegas with just the kids.”

Sharing an update on her health, after contracting the coronavirus before Christmas, Kerry revealed she was feeling “lots better”.

Kerry’s first marriage was to Westlife singer Brian McFadden in 2002, with the former couple sharing two daughters – Molly and Lilly.

In 2007, the reality star married taxi driver Mark Croft, the father of her children Max and Heidi, before divorcing in 2011.

Kerry’s third husband George Kay tragically died last year, leaving behind their daughter DJ. The former couple split in 2017.
