Katie Price begs the authorities to ‘send her to prison’ after becoming ‘fed up’ of court appearances

Katie Price has claimed she would rather be sent to prison, than face another day in court.

The 45-year-old has been summoned to court numerous times over the past few years, mostly to do with her debt repayments.

The former glamour model was declared bankrupt in 2019, and failed to attend a remote hearing over her £3.2million debt repayment last month.

Katie was accused of breaching an “income payments agreement”, and has been called to give evidence at another hearing in September.

Following countless court appearances, the mother-of-five has suggested they put her behind bars to cover all her misdemeanours, branding it a “win-win” situation.

Speaking on Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers’ podcast, she said: “I’m so threatened with court letters. I’ve been to court more times than I’ve had hot dinners lately.”

“I am not scared of court any more. I have said, ‘Can’t you put me to prison just to cover it all?’ Just be done with it.”

“I’m fed up with the reminders and why I’m in it [court]. I genuinely don’t care if I go to prison. Because it’s done then.”

Katie also said she’d love to “experience what it’s like” in prison, and could tell her story when she’s released.

“I love all the prison stuff and I can experience what it’s like in there,” she said. “I could do a story when I come out of me in prison, and it’s a win-win situation isn’t it?”

“It wouldn’t affect my job, it wouldn’t affect nothing. I wouldn’t be in there long. If they keep threatening me, just do it.”
