Alexandra Burke reportedly broke down in tears backstage, after it was revealed she was threw to the semi-final of Strictly Come Dancing.
According to The Sun, the singer, who had to do a dance off against EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami, was in fits of tears back stage, so much soTess Daly and Claudia Winkleman tried to console her.
“Alexandra was sobbing and shaking in the green room after the dance-off,” an insider told the publication.
“She had to be reassured by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, she seemed inconsolable.”
It was also reported by the Daily Star that the former X Factor star was heard crying: “Why does everyone hate me?” moments after she was saved by the show’s judges.
