Vogue Williams opens up about battle with anxiety

Vogue Williams has revealed that exercise helps her anxiety and gives her time to think.

The model is back in Dublin and posted a message to her Instagram explaining why she exercises so much.

“People always ask me about my work outs and how I can go to the gym so often. Nobody loves going to the gym but one of the main reasons I go is because it’s great for your mind, not just your body,” she said.

The 29-year-old is known for her amazing figure and regularly posts pictures of her grueling workouts but admits it isn’t always easy going to the gym.

“We all have down days and days where we just want to hide away but going to the gym releases endorphins and actually lifts your mood. I get anxiety quite a bit and I find the only thing that really helps with it is training,” she added. 

The newly single Dubliner only announced her split from her husband Brian last month and has been focusing her time on her career.

“It’s the one place where you are totally stuck in your own head for an hour. It gives me time to think without interruption. Mental health is so important so you need to remember to look after yourself #pleasemindyourhead,” she explained.

Earlier this year Vogue won Bear Grylls: Mission Survive after beating stiff competition by competing a number of tough challenges.
