Una Healy reveals why she will never regret her marriage to Ben Foden

The couple split in 2018 after six years of marriage

Una Healy has revealed she will never regret her marriage to Ben Foden, as it resulted in her two children.

The Irish singer shares 8-year-old Aoife Belle and 5-year-old Tadhg with the rugby player, who she split from in 2018.

The couple announced their break up amid claims Ben had been unfaithful, and Una went on to date former Limerick hurler David Breen – but they recently called it quits.

Despite her failed romances, Una said she has no regrets during an interview with Oliver Callan on RTÉ Radio 1.

The 38-year-old said: “Rather than saying a relationship has failed, you’re thinking I’m going to walk away from this having learned a bit about life rather than regret things.”

“Obviously all the past relationships I’ve ever had have all failed because I’m single now. But not really, because I wouldn’t have my two children if it wasn’t for one of the relationships.”

“I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’ve also learned about what I like and what I don’t like about someone in a relationship.

“So it’s like you have to think positive about it all and get through it,” she explained.

Una recently moved back home to Thurles in Co Tipperary, after spending 13 years living in the UK.

The singer made the move back to Ireland while Aoife Belle and Tadgh are spending time with Ben in America.

During their visit, Ben introduced them to their baby sister Farrah.

The rugby player welcomed a baby girl with his wife Jackie Belanoff Smith in May, but had to wait until now to introduce Farrah to her siblings.

When asked about her kids being with Ben in America, Una said: “They hadn’t seen him in a long time. They hadn’t seen him since Christmas.”

“He wanted to see them at Easter but obviously with everything that happened that was cancelled. So he has them over in America so they’re having a great time.”
