The profits of €269,533 are a 101pc increase in the €134,090 profits they recorded in the 12 months prior.

The pair – nicknamed Johnny Smacks and Johnny B – set up their hit podcast in 2018, and gained a huge surge in popularity when Johnny B shared his viral GAA Catfish story.

It’s success resulted in RTÉ allowing the pair to bring their act to 2FM in February 2022, where they host their own drive-time show called Drive It with The 2 Johnnies.

The duo also host a series of popular live gigs across the country, and landed their own RTÉ2 series, The 2 Johnnies’ Late Night Lock In, which aired last year.

According to the outlet, The 2 Johnnies also recorded a box office of €462,516 for their gig at the 3Arena in December 2022, which attracted over 8,500 fans.

The pair are hitting the road once again for a number of live shows in Dublin and the US.

They will host “Two Pints in a Field” in Dublin’s St Anne’s Park in June this year, which will also see a performance from Craig David.

The two will also bring their live show to San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto, Chicago and New York City then to Australia for a number of dates in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
