Roz Purcell has opened up about her experiences competing in Miss Universe.
The model, hiking enthusiast and foodie explained that the bikini portion of the contest caused her some stress.
In a Q&A session on her Instagram story, Roz was asked: “What’s one of the hardest things you’ve ever done?”
The food blogger replied, saying: “Walking in a bikini in Miss Universe down a stairs in heels with millions of people watching on TV – dead.”
“The girl before me slipped, I was sweating!”
Roz competed in the pageant in 2010.
The podcaster also described her hike up Mount Kilimanjaro as one of the most physically and mentally taxing experiences, along with taking part in a triathlon.
“Both physically and mentally, Mt Kilimanjaro and Ironman 70.3,” she replied.
During the Q&A, the author also also revealed that she will be bringing ethical and sustainable Hike Life merch to her followers soon.
She also told one Hike Life fan that the concept will be coming to London soon, followed by one in Wales in early 2020.
