The remaining 6 episodes of Blind Date have been axed by TV3

TV3 will not air the final six episodes of Blind Date.

Hosted by Al Porter, and sponsored by Cadbury, the show was still due to air six more episodes.

According to the Irish Mail On Sunday, the remaining shows have been completely scrapped.

“It’s an absolute disaster for TV3. They spent a fortune on Blind Date, buying the format, the production, the promotion, not to mention Al’s salary. But they are left with no option,” a source told the publication.

“The remaining six will never see the light of day. It’s just an absolute disaster all round.”

Since Al was accused of sexual misconduct he resigned from Today FM and was replaced in his Christmas Panto by Rory Cowan.
