Angela Scanlon is reportedly set to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
According to The Daily Mail, the Irish presenter is among the celebrities who have signed up to appear on the 21st season of the BBC show.
Sources at BBC have said they expect the mum-of-two to be an early contender to go far in the contest.
A source said: “It is hard to get the mix right for Strictly every year but producers think that Angela is perfect for it.”
“She is really popular with the BBC’s viewers but unlike so many celebrities she doesn’t have a dancing background so Strictly fans will be able to go on a really enjoyable journey with her.”
“Every year the producers like to have a glamourous yet wholesome TV presenter as the fans love them.”
It’s understood that Angela was previously approached to appear on Strictly Come Dancing, but the timings weren’t right.
The mum-of-two currently hosts BBC2’s Your House Made Perfect.
The Ratoath native, who lives in London with her husband Roy Hogan and their two daughters, also fronts her own RTÉ show titled Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything.
