Taylor Swift surprised the staff of The Tipsy Bird in Belfast with a visit on Friday night.
The singer visited Ireland to support her boyfriend Joe Alwyn, who has been filming the TV adaptation of Sally Rooney’s Conversations With Friends in Belfast since April.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, the cocktail bar shared a photo of their staff posing alongside Taylor – who they described as “lovely and kind”.

Irish singer Tiernán Heffron, who was performing in The Tipsy Bird on the night, also shared a snap with the American songstress.
He wrote: “Its not everyday @taylorswift walks into your gig and stays for your whole three hour set.”
“She was the most lovely person! She asked how she could follow what I was doing and gave me a tip! Dreams do come true, ready and excited for what’s to come #22”.

Taylor is no stranger to Irish soil.
Back in 2018, the 31-year-old and Joe spent Christmas together in Limerick, and rented out Glin Castle for the occasion.
She was also rumoured to be in Ireland back in July, after she shared a photo on a beach that resembled Ballymastocker Bay in Portsalon, Co. Donegal.
