TV presenter Lucy Kennedy and her daughter Holly were on hand to launch Cheerios Childline Breakfast 2017 at Fire Restaurant in Dublin today.
This year, Cheerios Childline Breakfast will take place from Monday 16th to Sunday the 22nd of October, ISPCC Childline are calling on the nation to host a Cheerios Childline Breakfast to raise vital funds for Ireland’s only 24 hour listening service for children.
Participants can register today at childlinebreakfast.ie or Text RISE to 50300 to donate €4.
Over 1,000 children contact Childline every day who want to share their hopes, fears, worries and frustrations. Children contact Childline by phone, text and webchat with over 75% of Childline calls take place outside of office hours.
The ISPCC needs to raise almost 85% of funding through the public for its Childline service.
Please help keep Childline listening and host a Cheerios Childline Breakfast from the 16th-22nd October.
Whether its a family, playschool, crèche, community group, school, business or organisation Cheerios Childline are encouraging everyone to join in on the fun and register a breakfast to help support children who need the continual support of Childline.
When you register you will receive a fundraising pack and portion packs of Low Sugar Oat Cheerios to help with organising your breakfast.
