Brendan O’Carroll has continued his charitable ways, and offered to pay for the funeral of a man who had been homeless.
The Mrs Brown’s Boys star revealed he wanted to “cover” any costs incurred after a 51-year-old Polish man passed away on Christmas Day at his flat in Ennis, Co Clare.
Local woman Josie O’Brien, who had been feeding the homeless on Christmas Day, revealed his body had remained in the morgue in Limerick since because no one could pay for a funeral, and spoke to RTE Radio One’ s Live Line.

Presenter Joe Duffy then revealed the Mrs Brown’s Boys star had been listening in and offered to cover all the costs.
“Brendan O’Carroll has been on from Florida now saying he’ll pay for the burial of that Polish man in Ennis,” Joe said.
“Brendan said to make all the arrangements and he would cover all that needs to be covered.”
The comedian is known for his generosity, and just last year he was named Philanthropist Of The Year by the Community Foundation For Ireland for his work with St Vincent de Paul.
