Kathryn Thomas has opened up about the weird and wonderful fanmail she received while fronting Winning Streak.
Speaking to Goss.ie, the Carlow host revealed the interesting offers she was sent by older men.
“I used to get quite weird and wonderful fanmail when I was doing Winning Streak from the elderly gentlemen from around Ireland,” she said.

“They comprised of cards with miraculous medals, offers of road frontage on various farms so all of that sort of stuff so it was interesting and fun,” she admitted.
Laughing off the impressive offers, the Operation Transformation presenter revealed Valentine’s Day always proved interesting.
“Then there was this weird card that came with all sorts of comments about my outfit but with all cut out words, cut outs from newspapers – kind of freaky.” she told Goss.ie.

Asking if the men of Ireland were taking more notice of her outfit choices after receiving a lot of attention from male fans.
“Certainly! Maybe that’s what happens in nursing homes around Ireland,” she laughed.
The RTE star smouldered on the 50 Shades of Grey red carpet at the Dublin premiere this week.
