Jim Carey is being sued by his late girlfriend Catriona White’s mother.
This is not the first time the actor has been blamed for her death as he has been reportedly accused before by Cathriona’s legal husband Mark Burton for supplying her with drugs.
Her mother Brigid Sweetman is supposedly seeking damages from the comedian in a wrongful death and violation of the drug dealer liability act lawsuit.

According to a document obtained by People Magazine, Brigid is suing the Newmarket native for giving her daughter “three STDS without warning her (Herpes I and II and Clamidia), lying to her about it, ‘dumping’ her out of concern for saving his own carefully crafted public image, calling her a ‘w****’ and shaming her, and then using his high-priced Hollywood lawyers and ‘fixers’ to intimidate and threaten her in an effort to silence her.
Jim’s lawyer Martin D. Singer has also released a statement to the publication on behalf of the star for the claims being made.
“It is understandable that a mother who has lost a daughter will look for someone to blame,” Martin explained.
“But in directing her grief and rage at Jim Carrey and joining this ridiculous lawyer’s attempt to capitalize on Cathriona’s suicide, Mrs. Sweetman is heading down the same dark path as Cathriona’s green-card ‘husband,’ Mark Burton.”
Jim has spoken out before about the “outrageous” claims made about giving Cathriona STDs.
