Presenter Claire Byrne has given birth to her second child.
The RTE star has welcomed a baby girl with fiance Gerry Scollan.
The pair have named their daughter Jane, and Claire told friends that they are “all thrilled, well and exhausted” according to the Irish Independent.
Claire is set for a hectic few months now that she is a mum of two children under the age of one.

Claire and Gerry are already parents to Patrick, and became engaged during her pregnancy in March 2013.
Claire previously said she had hoped this time they would have a girl.
“I don’t care in the least if it is a boy or girl – the only thing I’ll say is that when I’m buying clothes for boys I’ll gravitate towards the pink dresses.”
She also said that while her partner would love a big family, and she comes from a big family herself, the pair are not planning their own family with great precision.

“Gerry would have 10 children if he could,” she laughed.
“I never plan anything and I don’t prepare with military precision. I grew up in a family of six children but I’m not saying I’m going to have six.”
