Holly Carpenter: 'My future husband would want to go into witness protection if he cheated on me'

Catwalk queen Holly Carpenter has weighed in on the hacking of cheating website Ashley Madison, a platform for married men and women to arrange to meet and have affairs.

Issuing a word of warning, the top Irish model revealed that if she caught her future spouse on the site, he would “have to go into witness protection”.

“In the first place I can’t believe a website like this actually exists — and the worst thing is that it has 3.7 million members worldwide!” she said.

“The site promises its members complete ‘anonymity’ and its motto is ‘Life is short. Have an affair’.

“I understand that people can fall out of love with their spouse and in love with someone else, that’s life,” she admitted.

“However, the fact that these members went out of their way and spent $15 on a cheating profile kind of sickens me.

“If I found my husband (if I had one) on a site like this he’d have to go into witness protection, but I’d find him!,” she wrote in her Sun on Sunday column.

Karma: Holly said karma has come and bitten users of Ashley Madison in the ass | VIPIRELAND.COM

“Karma has come and bitten these people in the ass now though.”

The Raheny native joked the users of the site are trying to delete their profiles quicker then she was trying to “get rid” of her Bebo site after she won Miss Ireland in 2009.

“A hacking group called the ‘Impact Team’ claim they have stolen their details and will publish all names, credit card details, addresses and sexual demands unless the site is shut down,” she admitted.

“These people are now in a faster rush to delete their profiles than I was to get rid of my Bebo profile after I won Miss Ireland!”
