Claudine Keane has opened up about whether she would ever consider reality TV.
The model has been married to former Ireland footballer Robbie Keane since 2008.
The mother-of-two revealed that she was previously asked to appear on Dancing With The Stars and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Speaking to Goss.ie on the pink carpet at The Gossies 2024, Claudine revealed whether she would ever consider going on reality TV.
The model said: “I was asked to do it a few times but you have to have the time, there’s no point in half doing it you have to really dedicate yourself to it.”
“I suppose there’s never a right time and I even spoke to Rosanna [Davison] about this, ‘when do you say yeah’ and it’s always gonna be a bit overwhelming.”
“You know I’d never say never but the other times when I was asked I was too busy with travelling and stuff to do it.”
The model answered whether she would ever do a Real Housewives of Dublin reality series, to which she responded: “I was actually asked to do the Beverly Hills one when I was living in LA, you know for me, reality TV is playing with fire and you don’t know how it’s gonna be edited,”
“I really have a lot of admiration for people who go on reality TV because you’re kind of letting the editor dictate your role and personality.”
“For me, at that time it wasn’t the right time, but again it’s a fun show, it’s just a bit intense sometimes.”
Speaking about the secret behind her long-lasting marriage to the former footballer, Claudine said: “I think just being good friends, life is full of twists and turns and when you have kids things change.”
“Nothing’s ever perfect for any of us but if you’re friends and you stick by each other that’s all that matters.”
