“The kids were so excited and delighted that Emily Blunt approved of their performances”

Jack told the Western People: “She was very good and very kind.”

“She was talking to all the kids and took photos with them all and asked to see another scene from the show.”

“She spent about half an hour with us altogether.”

Jack, who is the musical director, called an impromptu rehearsal for the kids and surprised them with the actresses visit.

Her appearance at the rehearsal was not a coincidence, with friends of the drama group starting a social media campaign to bring the group to Emily’s attention.

However, Jack’s father met the actress in a Ballina pub at a trad session, and asked her to visit the group.

The superstar actress has been spotted out and about quite a bit since her temporary relocation to Ireland.

Emily has been spotted shopping in Dunnes Stores in Ballina, where she signed autographs for fans.

She also visited Caprice Cafe in Galway city on a break from filming to enjoy a delicious brunch in the popular Galwegian eatery.

On this week’s episode of The Gosscast; Goss.ie Founder Ali Ryan sits down with Goss.ie Editor Kendra Becker to discuss the latest with the Kardashian-Jenner clan and the now infamous Meghan Markle and Prince Harry documentary.
