Claudine Keane has admitted she sees her son Robert Jnr following in his famous dad’s footsteps – right onto a football pitch.
The Dubliner revealed the five-year-old loves attending practice at LA Galaxy with his dad – and he’s getting “more and more” into the sport.
And the 30-year-old hasn’t ruled out Robert Jnr following his father by playing for the Irish squad when he grows up.

She said: “He is hilarious, he makes me laugh. Every time I see him go out on the pitch with his dad, he’s getting more and more into it.
“He thinks he’s part of the team. He knows the names of all the players and Rob brings him to training sometimes.
“He knows the back room staff as well so when he’s there he’s going around saying ‘Hi Jimmy’ and ‘Hi Paul, did you finish that job yesterday?’ It’s very funny.

“I’m like ‘does he think he’s part of the team now?’ He got to lift the cup with the players and everything so he was so excited about that. He loves it, he really loves it.”
Meanwhile, Claudine told the Herald that despite a few months being back in Dublin she doesn’t know if they’ll ever live back here full time – as they get set to jet back to LA this week.

“We bought a house in Ireland about a year ago and I think Ireland will always be our base but I don’t know if in the foreseeable future we could be living here,” she said.
“But we always come home and spend a few months here… it’s the one place that’s consistent in our lives”.
