Cathriona White’s family were sent death threats after her suicide last year.
The 30-year-old Irish make-up artist took her own life following her split from Jim Carrey and her distraught family have revealed that they were bombarded with sick messages and letters following a report that she had argued with her mother before her death.
However, after letters she wrote before her overdose were revealed at Cathriona’s inquest last month, her family feel they can finally move on.

Cathriona’s stepfather Brian Sweetman told the Sunday Mirror: “We’ve had a terrible few months since Cathriona’s death. There’s been death threats and angry letters.
“We’re just glad it’s reached a conclusion and that the truth has finally come out.”
A source close to the family added: “To lose Cathriona was hard enough but to then have messages like this arrive has only made things all the harder.
“Cathriona’s family are focusing on trying to move forward in their lives the best they can, given the tragedy which has befallen them.”

The official autopsy report for the Tipperary native recently confirmed that her death was caused by “multiple drugs effect”, including a mix of sleeping tablets, painkillers and beta blockers.
One of the notes she left for Jim, read: “I’ve spent three days now in disbelief that you’re not here. I can go on brokenhearted and try to put the pieces back. I could, I just don’t have the will this time. I’m sorry you felt I wasn’t there for you. I tried to give you my best part,” she wrote.
“I don’t really know about burial or that sort of thing. You are my family so whatever you choose will be fine. Please forgive me. I’m just not for this world.”
