Cathriona White had reportedly tried to end her life once before.
The Tipperary native died after an alleged drug overdose in her Los Angeles home in late September after a three year on and off relationship with actor Jim Carrey.
However, it has now emerged that the make-up artist had previously tried to take her own life before in 2012.

According to TMZ, Cathriona attempted suicide after the death of her father three years ago.
Meanwhile, close friends of the make-up artist told investigators on the case that the Cappawhite native received a hateful message from her estranged biological mother days before her death calling her a “failure”.
Cathriona died on the third anniversary of her father’s death.
It comes after it was recently revealed that Jim intends to travel to Tipperary to attend his former girlfriend’s funeral.
