Brian Dowling’s husband, Arthur Gourounlian, has confirmed he took two COVID-19 tests before and during a trip to Germany last week.
The choreographer jetted to Munich last week for a work project, despite Germany not being on the green list; where certain countries are deemed safer to travel to during the coronavirus pandemic.
Since landing back from the trip Arthur had shared a video with his other half out and about in Dublin.
Speaking to the Irish Mail on Sunday, a rep for Arthur said he had been tested twice.
“Arthur took a test before he left, and he took a further test before his return, so he feels he took the necessary precautions,” his rep said.
“He is living in Brian’s family home with his sister. He is carefully monitoring his health, and should he even think he has any symptoms he will, of course, take steps.”
“He wouldn’t put anyone at risk, and by doing the tests and daily temperature checks he is being extra cautious.”
At the moment the Irish government have urged people not to travel at all, but if they are to do so to travel to countries on a “green list’ that they have published.
Countries on the list include: Malta, Monaco, Italy, Norway and Finland.
