TV presenter Alan Hughes has revealed he is set to wed his partner Karl Broderick later this year.
The couple, who are already civil partners, have reportedly set a date for their nuptials on September 30, the same date as their civil partnership.
Although enjoying a big bash in 2011, the romantic pair are planning on a more low-key affair with family and friends.

“It will be somewhere down the country and we are thinking it will be a smaller affair with family and close friends,” Alan told the Mail on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the TV3 star has had a very successful year so far with his annual Christmas Panto at Dublin’s Tivoli Theatre.
The host, who stars in the show, reportedly raked in a €1 million from his stint on stage.
