In America star Sarah Bolger has nabbed her biggest screen part to date in a terrifying new role.
The Dublin actress is starring opposite A-listers Olivia Wilde, Mark Duplass and Daniel Glover in The Lazarus Effect, a horror set in a science laboratory in a US university.
The 23-year-old stars as one of a group of med students who stumble into some uncomfortable life and death situations.
When Olivia’s character suddenly dies, the students attempt to bring her back to life with a dubious medical experiment.
The Hollywood actress took to social media to share photos of the flick as the trailer was released earlier this week. One frightening image shows the star hanging upside down from the ceiling, which Olivia admitted had some rather negative consequences.
“Just hangin out with Sara Bolger in The Lazarus Effect. I broke all the blood vessels in my face that day. Not cute.”

The thriller is the latest in a string of films that Sarah has been signed to recently as her star continues to be on the rise.
The Tudors actress has recently completed Kiss Me with Hannah Montana star Emily Osment and she will also be starring in action series Badlands opposite Emily Beechum and Orla Brady.
The Lazarus Effect is scheduled for release February 27.
