Over the weekend, it was reported that The Weeknd and Selena Gomez had split, after pictures emerged of Selena’s hanging out with her ex Justin Bieber.
However, according to reports from TMZ, The Weeknd was the one who ended the relationship – and it was nothing to do with JB.
Multiple sources connected to The Weeknd have claimed that the relationship fizzled out weeks ago.
Apparently, the Canadian singer and rapper enjoyed the single life before he met Selena and felt that their relationship had lost its passion.
TMZ sources say both Selena and The Weeknd remain friendly and have kept in contact since the split.
Since the break up Selena has been pictured hanging out with old boyfriend Justin Bieber.
