Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn accuses ex Christian Richard of using a ‘spy’

Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn has accused her ex-husband Christian Richard of using a “spy” to violate her restraining order.

The pair filed for restraining orders against each other following an alleged domestic violence incident earlier this year – Christine’s was accepted, Christian’s was denied.

On Wednesday, the Selling Sunset star alleged that her ex-husband “willfully violated” the terms of his temporary domestic violence restraining order.

According to People, a court filing said Christine’s attorney provided video footage of “an unknown man” at their former shared residence on May 27th – where she is currently leaving.

The same individual was seen leaving with Christian from a court appearance on Tuesday, June 4th.

Christine’s restraining order stated her ex-husband must not come within 100 yards of her, her home, her vehicle, her job or their child’s school or childcare.

Her attorney issued a statement at the time: “We are pleased that the Court dismissed Christian’s baseless request for a DVRO against Christine today. As such, all of his requests have been denied again.”

“The Court also extended Christine’s Temporary Restraining Order protecting her and her son from Christian until May 14, 2024. We look forward to appearing at that hearing to obtain a permanent restraining order.”

The court documents surrounding this incident stated: “Mr. Dumontet sent an agent on his behalf to the property to effectively spy on Mrs. Quinn.”

She was notified of the person by “an alert on her cell phone that a person was on her property.”

Although she was not at home, she had recently installed security surveillance “to ensure that Mr. Dumontet and his agents abided by the terms of the DVRO — to stay 100 yards away.”

It continued: “She watched an unknown man live from her phone application snooping around her garage and in front of her pool.”

“He was located in an area of the property that was not available to the public. Mrs. Quinn did not recognize the person to be associated with Mr. Dumontet; he was a complete stranger.”

Christine claimed she was left “terrified” by the incident.

Earlier this week, the Selling Sunset star saw the same individual walking with Christian after they were photographed together in pictures published by Us Weekly.

“Upon review of the US Weekly article, Mrs. Quinn immediately recognized the May 27, 2024, trespasser in the photographs.”

“The trespasser was photographed next to Mr. Dumontet, wearing the EXACT SAME outfit that he was wearing when he trespassed,” the court document continued.

“There is no dispute that this trespasser is an agent and/or associate of Mr. Dumontet.”

Christine alleged: “the May 27, 2024, trespassing is a clear violation of the DVRO by Mr. Dumontet and constitutes contempt of court.”

“Mr. Dumontet knew he was not permitted to be at the property, and sent his agent there to spy on Mrs. Quinn nonetheless.”

The filing adds: “Mr. Dumontet is forcing Mrs. Quinn and their son out of the marital home by fear of strange men coming and going as they please.”

“She does not feel safe living there. Thus, Mrs. Quinn will set a future hearing date should these violations continue.”

Christian’s attorney, Alexandra Kazarian with Geragos and Geragos responded, telling People: “This pattern of wild, seemingly paranoid allegations against Mr. Dumontet evidences an obsession that is highlighted by Ms. Quinn’s multiple filings alleging that she has been unable to locate him and has not heard from him since March”

Christian filed to divorce the Selling Sunset star in April after he cited “irreconcilable differences.”

On March 20th, the tech millionaire was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon following an alleged incident involving Christine and their two-year-old son.

The 45-year-old was accused of throwing a bag containing a glass bottle at his wife, which then hit their son – who was subsequently taken to hospital in an ambulance.

The LAPD public information officer confirmed: “Victim and suspect were involved in a domestic dispute.”

“The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim, but the object hit the victim’s child causing injury,” the officer claimed.

About their divorce, a source has since told Us Weekly that Christine “felt controlled” during their whole relationship.

“He never liked that her whole brand was about sex appeal and Christine would often have to lie about what partnerships or photoshoots she was doing so Christian wouldn’t have a meltdown,” they added.

“It has been toxic for several months and Christine has been in distress. … It is going to be a long messy road ahead of them, as they both have restraining orders and are not in agreement on plans with their son.”
