It looks like Selena Gomez’s family are still not ready to accept Justin Bieber back into their lives.
TMZ has reported that Selena’s mum, Mandy Teefey, was hospitalised after she had a “heated” conversation with her daughter about her rekindled romance with Justin Bieber.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that police went to an L.A. area hotel last week to do a welfare check on Mandy, at a family member’s request.
The source added that Mandy was voluntarily transported to a nearby hospital to get checked out.
It’s reported that after Selena told Mandy that she and Justin were in couples therapy, Mandy “flipped”, realising that their rekindled romance was more serious than she thought.
It’s no secret that Selena’s family aren’t big fans of their reunion, and some of her family members say they’ll never forgive him or accept him for what they think he did to her years ago.
TMZ added that Mandy was released from hospital the same day, and she’s giving Selena space to figure out what she wants.
