Katy Perry recently debuted a striking new look after chopping off her blonde locks and shaving one side of her head.
And now the pop star has gone for an even shorter and more drastic ‘do.
Katy unveiled a new platinum pixie cut on Instagram on Monday, sharing a snapshot which showed her super-short hair poking out from under a hood.
The singer captioned the photo “fifth element flow”, joking that she looks like Bruce Willis in the 1997 movie.
Katy had originally gone for the chop after splitting from Orlando Bloom in late February.
While she was compared to Miley Cyrus after showing off the cut, the star revealed that Scarlett Johansson had been her inspiration.
“I saw Scarlett Johansson and she had the same cut and I was like, ‘That’s one of the most beautiful women in the world. I can do  that, too and look maybe half as good.’ So I went there,” she told Ryan Seacrest at the iHeartRadio Awards last month.
She added that she was thrilled with the results, saying, “I feel the most authentic I’ve ever been.”
