Marilyn Mason was hospitalised last night after he was crushed by a stage prop during a concert in New York.
The 48-year-old was singing a cover of The Eurythmics’ song Sweet Dreams at the Hammerstein Ballroom when a large stage prop of two guns fell on him.
It’s reported that the performer lay on the ground with a sheet covering him for around 15 minutes before being carried off stage on a stretcher.
Speaking to the BBC, eyewitness Anthony Biscardi said that fans “instantly freaked out” after the prop fell on Marilyn.

“Towards the middle of the song it seemed as though he tried climbing onto a prop. The first touch of weight on those poles and it came crashing down onto him.”
Meanwhile, Manson’s rep told Variety, “Manson suffered an injury towards the end of an incredible NYC show. He is being treated at a local hospital.”
