Judge Judy beat Ellen DeGeneres for the top spot on Forbes’ World’s Highest-Paid TV Hosts 2018 list.
The 76-year-old earned the most money hosting her hugely popular show, Judge Judy, from June 2017 to June 2018.
Judy Sheindlin has been the star of her courtroom programme since 1996, but this is her first time to take the top spot on the presenter list.
The judge earned a total of $147,000,000 during the timeframe, as she sold the rights to her show’s reruns, which earned her an estimated $100 million.
The presenter beat Ellen DeGeneres for the top spot on the list, as the 60-year-old earned $87,500,000 during the year and also became the first woman to earn $20 million for a Netflix stand-up special.
The hosts were followed by Dr. Phil McGraw, who placed third on the list with $77,500,000 and Ryan Seacrest, who took in $74,000,000 during the year.
Steve Harvey came in fifth place on the list with $44,000,000, as he brought out his new show, Steve, last year and is still hosting four major game shows, including Family Feud.
