Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have “quietly” hired a realtor to sell their $60M mansion amid divorce rumours.
The couple, who have reportedly been “living apart” for weeks, bought the residence after viewing more than 80 properties.
Ben Affleck has reportedly become “worn down” by his wife Jennifer Lopez’s lifestyle: “The honeymoon phase has worn off.”
Amid rumours that “divorce is imminent” for the pair, a source told TMZ that their relator has been “showing the house for around 2 weeks” but has not secured a buyer yet.
The insider reported that “they’re asking around $65 million for the house.”
With the “significant money” the Oscar winner and singer put into improvements, the outlet said they would be taking a “loss of millions of dollars.”
TMZ also reported that J Lo is “already looking for a new house” as Ben stays at a 100K-per-month rental in Brentwood, near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
The couple have reportedly decided to “take some space” to determine whether the relationship “is right for both of them,” a source told Us Weekly.
Ben “doesn’t agree with Jennifer’s lifestyle” and feels “worn down” by the marriage.
The Good Will Hunting star has been “checked out,” as the insider noted they are on “two completely different pages most of the time,” adding: “The honeymoon phase has worn off.”
Another source close to Jennifer said: “Both have demanding careers that often require them to be in different cities.”
According to the insider their busy schedules have “highlighted the emotional and physical distance between them.”
“Over time, Jennifer and Ben found it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively, and small misunderstandings grew into significant arguments,” they said.
“They have fundamentally different approaches to conflict,” the insider added, as they explained that Jennifer prefers to confront issues head-on, while Ben isn’t as quick to open up.
Despite their issues, Jennifer has remained “committed to working on the marriage,” and while Affleck was hesitant, the insider said he has since begun to “invest more.”
